Patients needed a straightforward way to reach the practice without opening the site to spam submissions.

Devatwork built the contact system on Drupal's Webform module with reCAPTCHA and CAPTCHA integration for spam protection.

Regular patients needed a nudge to book their periodic check-up, without manual follow-up from staff.

Our team built a custom Drupal module that automatically emails patients a recall reminder eleven months after their last recorded visit.

We built a custom Bootstrap subtheme with a genuine mobile-first CSS structure, base styles first and progressively enhanced at each breakpoint, including a custom breakpoint beyond Bootstrap's defaults.

As a healthcare practice, the site needed clean, discoverable URLs, proper metadata, and GDPR-compliant cookie handling.

Devatwork implemented Pathauto for clean URLs, Metatag for SEO metadata, and the EU Cookie Compliance module for consent management.

Result

The new site replaced a fragmented online presence with a clean, credible one, appropriate for a healthcare practice and structured around clear specialisations rather than generic pages. A dedicated content section lets the practice publish educational material on an ongoing basis, supporting local search visibility without needing technical help from staff for each new post. Combined with simplified phone and email contact and a keyword-aligned domain and content structure, this puts the practice in a stronger position for local search in the Evergem and Ghent area.
